This chapter tells us how Zor-El comes back home from his expedition and gets ready to share his discoveries with Jor-El. Far from defeated, but very hurt, Jor-El's brother contemplates the idea of seeking medical attention before he arrives to Argo City, but he desists. The author contrasts Krypton's capital grand metropolitan features, with the warmth and tropical mist that transpire Argo City. As soon as Zor-El gets home, his wife, Alura (a botanical expert) welcomes him. He tries to unwind all his scientific findings to Alura, but she charms him into rest first. Alura knows exactly what to do with her hurt husband in times like this. She immediately arranges a botanical cocktail to heal his wounded body. When Zor-El wakes up, he is still somewhat weak and hurting, but visibly in better condition. Soon he tells Alura about the plante's core instability and how urgent it is to discuss this matter with Jor-El. Once more, Alura persuade him to stay put until his body is restored and he accepts. A few days later his is on his way to Kandor, another mission in hand: share his knowledge with his brother and take the matter to a higher authority.
